Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga.
Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Emmie Lindsey of Clyo, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stansfield of Rincon, the late Harry E. “Bootsie” Lindsey of Clyo and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Otto Snooks of Springfield.
Landon is a 2011 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2016
graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelors of science in Nursing.
Landon is a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.
The wedding is planned for November 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at The First Baptist
Church in Rincon. All family and friends are invited to attend the wedding.
