William Lee Snow Jr. and Crystal Noel Starling

Chief Harold “Skip” and Dr. Nathalie Starling of Sylvania  announce the engagement of their daughter, Crystal Noel, to William Lee Snow Jr. of Charleston, S.C. Will asked Crystal to marry him on July 30, 2015 at Grayson Stadium as she threw the first pitch to him.

Crystal is the granddaughter of the late Harold and Shirley Starling of Guyton, and the late August and Sandra Kegebein of Jacksonville, Fla. She attended Georgia Southern University with a focus in a BS degree in Biology and BA in International Studies. The past 10 years and presently, Crystal is employed as an Entertainment Character Performer for Walt Disney World in Orlando.

William is the son of Mr. William Sr. and Mrs. Karen Snow of Johns Island, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Don and Geneva Howington of Trussville, Ala., and Major and Betty Snow of Huntsville, Ala. He merited his BS degree in Civil Engineering, and his MS degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He is presently employed as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer for Terracon in Savannah.

Their wedding will be June 25, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. The ceremony will be officiated by Dr. John Waters at the First Baptist Church of Statesboro, followed by a reception. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga. Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
