Charles Lynn Floyd of Clyo is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his daughter, Jane Margaret, to Blake Garrett Kessler, son of Buzzie and Wanda Morgan of Springfield and Noel Kessler of Clyo.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Deborah Newsome Floyd. She is the granddaughter of Rufus Frederick Newsome and Anne Chastain Newsome and the late Georgia Bland Newsome of Savannah, and the late Frank Forest Floyd and Alma Reita Floyd of Port Wentworth.  She is a 2001 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2006 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied psychology and is currently pursuing a masters degree in education. She is employed as a teacher in the Effingham County School System.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Clifford Lester Bragg Jr. and Louise Atkins Bragg and the late Gladys Smith Bragg of Springfield. He is also the grandson of Christine Carr Kessler and the late Clarence Jefferson Kessler of Rincon.  He is a 1998 graduate of Effingham County High School, a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social science education, and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a Masters of Education in educational leadership. He is employed as a teacher in the Effingham County School System.  

The wedding will be held on June 28, 2008, at 6 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church in Guyton. Family and friends are invited to attend.
