Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Skip) Newman Jr. of Evans are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Erinn Elizabeth Newman, to Mr. Justin Shane Beasley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Exley of Springfield and Mr. Robert Beasley Jr. of Savannah. The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at The Barn at Perry’s Landing in Hephzibah.

Miss Newman is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Gilbert and the late Mr. James Gilbert of Evans, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Newman of Augusta. She is a 2008 graduate of Aquinas High School, and a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s of science in nursing. Erinn is currently employed by Memorial Health as a critical care registered nurse.

Mr. Beasley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Kaiser, the late Mrs. Judy Kaiser, all of Meldrim, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Exley of Springfield, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rivera, and the late Robert Beasley Sr., all of Savannah. He is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School, and a 2010 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College. Justin is employed by Daniel Defense as a CNC machine mechanic.
