Mr. and Mrs. Randal Trowell of Clyo are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Lynn, to Christopher Michael Hesling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Justice of Rincon and Mr. Reginald B. “Skip” Hesling III of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Flarleen Young and the late Mr. John L. Young of Springfield, and the late Mr. and Mrs. DeLacey W. Trowell Sr. of Clyo.

Brittany graduated from Effingham County High School in 2007 and graduated cum laude from Armstrong Atlantic State University in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Douglas Broom Sr. of Rincon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eugene Justice Sr. of Macon County, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Reginald B. Hesling Jr. of Savannah.

Chris graduated from Effingham County High School in 2007 and will graduate in May 2012 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design.

A June wedding at the Wilmington Island Club is being planned.
