J.K. Rowling doesnt mess around when she drops bombshells about the Harry Potter universe.

In a post on the Pottermore blog, Rowling revealed that the series main character Harry Potter isnt the only Harry Potter.

Thats right. There are two Harry Potters.

Yup, you read it right: TWO HARRY POTTERS! And the original one was Harry Potter's great-grandfather! This is too much, Mashable reported.

Rowlings Pottermore post explained that one Henry Potter was known as Harry Potter to his closest family friends. This Harry Potter had a son named Fleamont Potter, who married a woman named Euphemia who gave birth to a son named James Potter.

James Potter, as many fans will recognize, is the father of Harry Potter, the star of the book series.

Rowling said Potter isnt an uncommon name in the Harry Potter world, either.

Rowling, who authored all the Harry Potter books and its spinoffs, has been known to drop little tidbits or major bombshells about the series on both Pottermore and Twitter, according to Entertainment Weekly. She revealed such details as Sirius Blacks birthday, Harry Potters sons Hogwarts house and the correct pronunciation of Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter fans will celebrate the books 20th anniversary this coming Monday, June 26. The first book in the series, Harry Potter and the Philsophers Stone," debuted in the United Kingdom on June 26, 1997.

Twenty years later, the Harry Potter world is still going strong thanks to the continued popularity of Rowling's seven books, eight films, hit play and Harry Potter spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
