VANUATU — Volcanoes are one of the most intriguing world wonders. Who hasn’t dreamed of getting close to a volcano to see its beauty?
Sam Cossman and Geoerge Kourounis decided to make that dream a reality. With GoPro’s strapped on, Cossman and Kourounis rappelled down into the crater inside Mount Marum of Vanautu.
Since 1774, Mount Marum has erupted 48 times, according to Oregon State University. The magma inside the volcano is approximately 2,300 degrees Fahrenheit.
The video shows the two explorers on the fringe of the extremely volatile, rolling magma. The scene is both scary, but absolutely intriguing
