The Mighty 8th Air Force Museum is offering a free children’s model airplane building class and free child’s admission with the purchase of a model airplane on Aug. 28. World War II model airplanes are on sale in the Museum Gift Store for $12. 

 

Children’s model airplane building classes will be offered at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Spaces are limited so to save your spot in the building class call (912) 748-8888 or e-mail education@mightyeighth.org. Unique model airplanes from the museum’s archive collection will be on display. 

 

The museum is located at 175 Bourne Ave. in Pooler, right off of I-95 at Exit 102.
