Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin is alerting consumers to the recall of a “hot olive” product and a “plum candy” which contain sulfites, preservatives, not listed as an ingredient on the product label. Additionally, a light tuna in olive oil is being recalled because it contains soy, not listed on the label.
Tiffany Food Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling “Chi Ling Gourmet Foods Hot Olive” due to the presence of sulfites not listed as a product ingredient. The 200-gram product is packaged in clear plastic wrap without a product code. The Taiwanese-product was distributed nationally.
Tiffany Food is also recalling “Bifeng Nong fu Shanzhuang” plum candy. It has sulfites not listed on the product label.
The plum candy, imported from China, is distributed nationally. It is packaged in a 122-gram plastic foil without product or productions codes printed on the packaging. Consumers with an allergy, or severe sensitivity to sulfites, run the risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Additionally, Tri-Union Seafood LLC, San Diego, is recalling its five-ounce variety of Genova solid light tuna in olive oil. It contains a soy ingredient not listed on the product label.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soybean run the risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product.
