The annual Effingham County American Cancer Society Memorial and Honor Service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Effingham County Board of Education Auditorium on 405 N. Ash St. in Springfield.

Ten new plaques will be dedicated for display on the Memorial Board in Effingham Hospital. Plaques come from donations as memorial or honor gifts.

The following people will be remembered during the service:  Reggie Crosby, Beverly Dubberly, James E. Edwards, J. W. Exley Jr., Lena Mae P. Hagan, Phillip E. King Sr., Davey C. Odom, Linda R. Rahn, Rebecca L. Rose and Philip C. Windsor.
