Roger Coursey, representing The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, presented a certificate of commendation to Effingham Health System. Michael Murphy received the commendation  on behalf of EHS in recognition of patriotism in the display of the U.S. flag.

“A sincere thank you to all of those who are serving or who have served in the U.S. military. We live freely today because you put your life on the line to protect all that we hold dear,” said Murphy.
