Eleven restaurants and caterers made samples of their wares available at the fourth annual Taste of Effingham on Thursday.

Another large crowd turned out, in spite of the inclement weather.

The event also is billed as Effingham’s St. Patrick’s Day and featured the music of popular irish musicians Harry O’Donoghue and Carroll Brown.
