Navy Seaman Recruit Brian C. Hobson, son of Eddie and Roxanne Moon of Guyton, and Brian W. Hobson of Deridder, La., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.

His graduation from basic training was Feb. 27. After graduation he went to “A” school in Pensacola, Fla.

Hobson is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School.
