Effingham County’s Anna Kessler and Chandler Pate sang at Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of the Choirs of America’s C3 Choral Convergence Concert and Rising Star Showcase on June 21.

The ladies sang with the Grandioso Choir, performing “Dirait-On,” “Ching-A-Ring Chaw” and “Hanacpachap Cussicuinin” under the direction of conductor Grant Gershon.

They also sang with the Tutti Choir the world-premiere performance of Rollo Dilworth’s “Rockin’ Jerusalem.”

Locally, Kessler and Pate sing with Vox Novum of Statesboro as well as the Effingham County High School Choir.
