Rotary Club district governor Gary Smith met Effingham County High School Interact students and talked with them about their projects and their involvement during a visit to the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club.

He said that, individually, worldwide projects could not be accomplished, but collectively, a large organization such as Rotary International can accomplish great things, such as the eradication of polio.

Smith was accompanied on his visit by his wife Sue and by Rotary assistant district governor Todd Freeseman.
