Neal graduates from Army War College

Lt. Col. Reginald G. Neal

Army National Guard Lt. Col. Reginald G. Neal has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks in Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master’s degree in strategic studies. The college is the Army’s senior educational institution.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army’s senior officer school is designed to prepare and train officers of all the U.S. military branches of service, foreign military officers, as well as senior civilian officials of federal agencies, to serve in top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide.

Neal is the brigade deputy commander assigned to the 648th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade at Fort Benning. A resident of Dallas, Neal has served in the military for 25 years.

He is the son of Juanita Neal of Statesboro and Richard Neal of Augusta, and the nephew of Deeotha Johnson of Ludowici.

His wife, Kim, is the daughter of Linda and Billy Strozier of Bloomingdale.

Neal graduated in 1987 from Richmond Academy in Augusta and received a bachelor’s degree in 1989 from Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. He also earned a master’s degree in 1996 from The Citadel.
