Pittman named the CRTC NCO of the year

Technical Sgt. Jeffrey Pittman has been named the non-commissioned officer of the year for the Combat Readiness Training Center. Tech Sgt. Pittman serves as the lead NCO in the supply section of mission support for the CRTC and most recently directed the unit’s drug testing program. He is a resident Effingham County.


Master Sgt. Rose Wade was named the senior NCO of the Year for the CRTC. A resident of Whitemarsh Island, Wade is the training NCO for the CRTC.


Capt. Roy L. Fountain Jr. has been named the CRTC company grade officer of the year. Fountain is the operations officer of the 165th Security Forces Squadron, Georgia Air National Guard at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, and serves as the lead security officer and inspections compliance officer for the CRTC.


He is a resident of Pooler.
