Rotary learns about hospital program

Jennifer Cobb, speech/language pathologist at Effingham Hospital, told the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club about new treatments available at Effingham Hospital for dysphagia or difficulty swallowing. The medical disorder impacts mostly older patients with a cognitive impairment. The hospital offers services to help achieve optimal communication with speech impairments. The Sunrise Rotary Club meets at the Guyton Christian Church Center, 105 Third St., Guyton, Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m.  More information is available on its Web site www.effinghamrotary.org.
