Jennifer Cobb, speech/language pathologist at Effingham Hospital, told the Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club about new treatments available at Effingham Hospital for dysphagia or difficulty swallowing. The medical disorder impacts mostly older patients with a cognitive impairment. The hospital offers services to help achieve optimal communication with speech impairments.
