The United Way of Effingham County’s “power raisers” are nearly three-fourths of the way toward this year’s campaign goal.
Pledges from the community total 71 percent of the $310,075 goal for the 2013 campaign, which runs through Nov. 22.
Funding for United Way supports 25 organizations and programs that provide a variety of services in Effingham.
