Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame inductee Harry Atkins told the Effingham County Sunrise Rotary Club about his lifelong adventures working as a reporter/journalist for events such as the 1975 sinking of the "Edmund Fitzgerald" to sports championships such as the World Series.
He is now retired but still votes on the Baseball Hall of Fame inductee candidates while spending his winters in Savannah and summers on the Lake Michigan shore.
