Springfield –   The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that Brad Carr will be taking over as Executive Director effective May 15.

Brad replaces Rick Lott who retires June 16.

In the interim, Rick and Brad will be working together to ensure a smooth transition at the Chamber.

 Brad joins the Chamber after serving the Georgia Southern University Office of Alumni Relations since 2011.

Prior to his work at Georgia Southern, he was the Sequoyah District Executive in the Northwest Georgia Council Boy Scouts of America.

Brad is a Double Eagle holding both a Bachelor and Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University.

The Chamber invites you to meet Brad at its Annual Membership Recognition Banquet Thursday, June 8, at the St. Boniface Banquet Hall starting at 6 p.m.
