Class offered to teach creating financial projections

On May 29 a class entitled “Creating Financial Projections” will be held at the Small Business Assistance Center, 111 E. Liberty St., Savannah between the hours of 6-8 p.m.

If you are preparing a business plan, applying for a bank loan, seeking venture capital, or debt financing, sooner or later you’ll have to prepare a set of financial projections. Lenders look for a strong likelihood of repayment using your projections. Investors will calculate what they think is the value of your company based on your numbers.

This class will help you understand how to create your own projections and where to go to find the answers to your own projection questions.

This class is a must for someone thinking of starting a business and needs some type of financing or a small existing business owner looking to grow the business and needs an infusion of money to accomplish that goal.

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center is proud to present this class at a minimal cost of $50 per person.

To register, go online at www.savannahsbdc.org  and pay by credit card or call (912) 651-3200 to pay by check or cash.  Don’t wait to register as seating is limited.
