Robin Coursey joined Spine and Sport as the insurance collections officer at the Effingham location in May 2007. Coursey worked in both medical transcriptions and in the fitness industry before joining Spine and Sport. Upon recognizing her talent, Spine and Sport quickly promoted her to income manager within a little over a year.

As income manager, Coursey oversees the billing department, account collections and patient collections.

“We all work together to take care of the insurance and financial concerns of our patients so that they can concentrate on healing their bodies,” she said. “This is the best reason I can think of to get up and come to work in the mornings.  So if your body hurts, come see us, we will take care of you just like you were family.”
