Spine and Sport welcomes Dr. Alysha Dixon to the team. Dr. Dixon is a new physical therapist at Spine and Sport.

Dr. Dixon is originally from Phoenix, Ariz., and attended The University of Arizona until moving to Savannah where she completed her bachelor’s of science majoring in biology from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Dr. Dixon then transferred to Florida where she received her doctorate of physical therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. 

Dr. Dixon’s clinical affiliations included orthopedic, pediatric and hospital settings in which she gained experience in a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.  She is currently working toward a certification in manual therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and plans to pursue an orthopedic specialty certification.

Spine and Sport has facilities located in Effingham, Richmond Hill, on Wilmington Island and downtown Savannah. The company’s clinics are open until 8 p.m.
