Effingham County Extension will offer production meetings to all crop producers in the county.

UGA Extension specialists will speak at this year’s meetings, which will be held at the Effingham County Extension Office at 284 Highway 119 South in Springfield.

Weed management, cotton and soybean production, and peanut production will be the topics covered at the three meetings currently scheduled. All meetings will offer a full meal before the informational session begins.

Dates, start times and instructors are listed below:

Jan. 22, 6:30 p.m. – weed control update, Stanley Culpepper

Jan. 26, 6:30 p.m. – cotton and soybean production meeting, Jared Whitaker and Phillip Roberts

Feb. 16, 6 p.m. – peanut production meeting, Scott Monfort
