The Georgia Department of Labor is helping CrossRoads Services Group recruit about 30 warehouse workers for its distribution center on Savannah’s Crossroads Parkway near Pooler. The GDOL conducted a recruitment for the company last month.

The latest recruitments were held Tuesday and Wednesday, with another scheduled for May 27. All recruitments will be held from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center, 5520 White Bluff Rd.

The company is recruiting workers to fill orders and load and unload trucks. Forklift experience is preferred but on-the-job training is provided. Salaries begin at $9 an hour.

Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or a General Education Diploma is preferred, but not required for the jobs.

Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.

For more information about the event, contact the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center at (912) 356-2773.
