SAVANNAH—The Coastal Bank recently promoted Wesley Olliff to small business relationship manager. In his new position, Olliff will work closely with local small businesses, providing comprehensive financial solutions tailored to meet their banking needs. He will be based at the bank’s Stephenson Avenue office.

Olliff originally joined The Coastal Bank in 2009 as branch manager and banking officer at the Rincon office where  he was responsible for overseeing branch operations in Effingham County. He was later promoted to assistant vice president after streamlining the banks retail lending process and co-managing the Retail Lending Department. Prior to his tenure at The Coastal Bank, Olliff worked as a senior account executive at Beneficial, Member HSBC Group, where he was consistently recognized as a nationally-ranked account executive.

Born and raised in Statesboro, Olliff graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2007. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, where he served as Alumni Relations Chair.

Community service serves as a priority for Olliff. He is a graduate of Leadership Effingham and currently serves as the president of the Rincon Noon Lions Club. In the past, he has volunteered with the Joseph Home for Boys in Statesboro, Junior Achievement in Savannah and Habitat for Humanity. He currently resides in Savannah with his wife, Jessica.
