State DOL to help Rincon transformer plant recruit workers

ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Labor will help Georgia Transformer Corporation (GTC), formerly EFACEC, recruit 32 workers for its manufacturing plant in Rincon. The company manufactures high-voltage transformers for utility companies.

The recruitment will be held March 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the company, located at 2789 Highway 21 South.

GTC is hiring control engineers, drafting personnel, test laboratory engineers, sales associates, field service managers, cost accountants, design engineers, quality engineers, applications engineers, information technology support staff, and field service technical support, along with production workers.

Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They should bring resumes to the recruitment and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
