SPRINGFIELD -- The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce conducted its monthy Business After Hours meeting at the Mars Theatre on Thursday.

Theatre Director Allison Newberry directed several tours of the facility that is undergoing an expansion that is nearly complete. The additions include a couple of dressing rooms, a new loading/unloading area and a room for storing concessions and an ice machine.

Previously, surplus soda was kept on the second floor, far from the concessions area.
