Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with a stabbing late Monday night in north Effingham County.
Shortly before 10 p.m., deputies responded to a residence at the 700 block of Mt. Pleasant Road on a report of a domestic dispute. Upon their arrival, they located Earl Reason, 47, of Clyo, suffering from a stab wound to the upper torso area. Reason was air lifted to Memorial University Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
A short time later, sheriff’s investigators arrested and charged Tundra Marcella Reed, 53, of Clyo, with aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
Reed is currently being held in the Effingham County Jail.
