A man is behind bars after Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies located a methamphetamine lab at his residence late Thursday evening.
The Drug Enforcement Unit received information that methamphetamine was being cooked at a residence in the 1700 block of Rincon Stillwell Road. Investigators located a methamphetamine lab, methamphetamine and several other items used to make additional labs, such as anhydrous ammonia.
Deputies arrested David Bodiford, 37, of Rincon at the residence. Bodiford has been arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful possession of pseudoephedrine.
Bodiford is currently being held in the Effingham County Jail. Additional arrests are pending.
