Deputies bust six meth labs

Effingham County Sheriff's drug investigators recovered half a dozen meth labs at a Silver Hill Church Road in northern Effingham County late Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies arrested Donna Senter, 31, of Clyo, and John Michael Ball, 25, of Clyo. Both are being charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. Senter and Ball are being held in the Effingham County Jail without bail.

Two men were arrested Tuesday in Eden after a domestic dispute led to a standoff. Deputies say George Driggers, 47, threatened his girlfriend and law enforcement with a gun, then barricaded himself inside a home. His father, Alford Driggers, 80, was also charged for allegedly threatening deputies.
