Are you missing your marijuana?

Last week, the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office received a report from an unidentified person who found a large amount of marijuana on Old Louisville Road. A member of the ECSO’s Drug Enforcement Unit went to meet the person, who said he found a trash bag containing marijuana.
The trash bag had three pounds of marijuana, along with other plants and paraphernalia.

The estimated street value of the three pounds of pot is estimated to be in excess of $2,000.

Crime scene investigators processed the bag for prints.

Anyone with information on the marijuana — and anyone wishing to claim it — is asked to call the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 754-3449.
