The Rincon Police Department conducted traffic safety checks on Fort Howard Road last Saturday night and made six arrests, according to Chief Mike Bohannon.

The checks netted three arrests for driving under the influence, one felony possession of marijuana arrest, an arrest for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, two for driving with a suspended license and various other driving infractions.
