Arrests

Craig Smith, Long Bridge Road – driving while license is suspended, driving without insurance, failure to appear.

Michael Drew, Old River Road – wanted person in Bryan County.

Hurley Smart, Quail Run Circle/Sparrow Lane – distracted driving (using cell phone), trafficking in cocaine, illegals drugs, marijuana.

Edwin Griffin, SR 17S/Blue Jay Road – hit and run, fleeing the scene of an accident.

 

Incidents

Little McCall Road – a man reported that two pick-up trucks (one pulling a trailer full of trash) illegally dumped the trash on another person’s property. The man said he called the owner of the property where the trash was dumped.

GA Hwy 119 S – a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was stalking and harassing her in another vehicle while she was driving.

Quail Run Circle – a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend still had the spare key to her jeep and was taking the car without permission. She requested an officer to charge him with trespassing and to retrieve the spare key.

McCall Road S – a man reported that another man’s dog bit him on his forearm while the dogs were playing at the dog park.

Watson Drive – a man reported that 27 sheets of plywood, valued at $600 was stolen from a construction site. The man requested extra patrol at night.

Midland Road – a man reported that he and his live-in girlfriend had a verbal argument about their living arrangements. The woman had left before patrol arrived, so the officer obtained her statement by phone. The man also claimed the girlfriend had taken $200 from him.

Saddlehorn Lane – a man reported a sinkhole in his driveway.

Blue Jay Road – a man reported his vehicle slid into a pond while he was trying to turn it around. All occupants were able to exit the vehicle. A tow truck was called to pull the vehicle from the pond. Homeowners were contacted by phone to inform them of the damage to the grass in their yard.

Hwy 17 S – a man reported that his dog bit him on the foot when he got into bed.

Gadwell Court – a woman reported she was receiving threatening texts from an unknown person who tried to buy pictures from her, and who never paid for them.
