Shane James, SR 275, Rincon – speeding and driving while unlicensed.

Jessica Mervin, I-95 MM 112 – speeding and impersonating a police officer.

Ashlie Moncrief, Hwy 21, Commerce Dr., Rincon – speeding and DUI.

Ricky Fries, Hwy. 80/Hwy. 17 – DUI and open container of alcohol in vehicle.

Linda Dugger, Blue Jay Road – simple battery.

Christopher Dixon, McCall Road/Low Ground Road – DUI, open alcohol container, failure to maintain lane, following too closely.

Daniel Powell, Hwy. 80 – Manufacturing, distribution, selling of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of tools to commit a crime, drugs not in original container.

Incidents

Buckskin Court – a man reported that he and his ex-girlfriend were having a dispute. He called law enforcement in case she made allegations against him.

GA Hwy 17 S – a woman reported that both the Amazon delivery driver and the tow truck he called had become stuck possibly due to mud in her yard.

John Glenn Drive – a woman reported that an unknown person poured sugar into the gas tank of her daughter’s car to damage it.

Otis Seckinger Road – a woman reported that an Amazon delivery driver struck her car in the driveway causing minor damage. She wanted the damage documented in case Amazon did not pay for the repairs.

Central Avenue – a man reported that his sister refused to return his shotgun (Remington model 870 12 ga pump Wing master shotgun) he had loaned her for deer hunting. He added that his sister said her boyfriend sold the gun to a pawn shop. The pawn shop reported it sold the gun to another customer.

Oakridge Drive – a woman reported that an unknown person was on her property and was taking things from an unoccupied building on the property. Officers attempted to locate the vehicle matching the description but were unsuccessful. The woman was also struck by the car as it left the scene.

I-16 MM 148 – a woman reported that her car had hydroplaned due to the rain and she needed her car towed from a ditch.

Bluegrass Circle – a man reported that his gun (9 mm #SAR9BL) was missing from his vehicle.

Shari Drive – a woman reported that she believes a person living in a camper on her neighbor’s property is taking things from her yard during the night or early morning.

Hwy 21 – a woman truck driver reported that her purse/wallet was missing.

Springfield – a woman reported that an unknown person may have stolen her mother’s identity and was attempting to rent an apartment in her mother’s name in Roswell.

Go Cart Road – a woman reported that a male coworker is constantly harassing her in person and by phone. Officer advised her to contact victim witness and to report him to her employer.

Plantation Drive – a woman reported that she received a call from the Department of Corrections stating she had to pay $1,000 via Cashapp for an ankle monitor for her son.

Incidents

Laurel Street -- A woman reported a snake on her property. The officer picked up the snake, believing it to be a rat snake. The snake lunged toward the officer’s hand, just before the officer was able to move the snake to the woods with his baton. The officer observed a small puncture wound on his index finger and went to the hospital emergency room to have it treated.
