An Effingham County teen is facing several charges, including vehicular homicide, following a late April fatal crash that killed 18-year-old Joshua Stafford.

The Georgia State Patrol charged Wade Hall, 18, of Guyton, with felony vehicular homicide, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, following too close, driving under the influence and three counts of serious injury by vehicle.

Stafford died when the Honda Civic being driven by Hall collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Midland and Courthouse roads. Stafford was a passenger in the front seat.

Hall also was hurt in the accident and was airlifted to Memorial University Medical Center.

Initial reports indicated that Hall was traveling north on Midland Road when his vehicle crossed into the path of an Acura sedan.

Hall was taken into custody Monday at the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office. His bond was set at $27,000.
