Three juveniles charged in entering auto spree
Suspects also fought with deputies

Effingham County sheriff's investigators have charged three juveniles with 15 counts each of entering a motor vehicle.

Additional charges range from possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, theft by taking a firearm, discharghing a firearm near a public roadway, and felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

During the search, one of the offenders began fighting a deputy. A second offender came to assist the suspect against the deputy but the deputy disengaged and used his taser to subdue one of the suspects.

All three were taken into custody following a manhunt. Additional charges are expected as investigators continue to locate other victims.
The suspects have been sent to the Claxton Youth Detention Center where they will remain until a court date.

The ages of the suspects range from 14 to 16. All three were from Bryan County.
