Effingham County/Fire Rescue and other first responders invite the community to a fun-filled event featuring good food.

Fishing with a Friend is set Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at RB Baker Pond, 216 Courthouse Road, Springfield.

There will be free food, plus games and prizes for children.
