Former SEHS student charged with making terroristic threats

An investigation by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Noah Tyson of Guyton.

The former South Effingham High School student who graduated in January has been charged with one count of terroristic threats and acts.

The sheriff’s office is investigating statements allegedly made by Tyson, which resulted in the execution of a search of his residence. The investigation is ongoing and may result in more charges.
