Contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation will be installing nighttime double lane closures today and Tuesday on I-95 Interchange Bridge over US 80 at Exit 102 in both directions from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., weather permitting.

These temporary lane closures are necessary to lay polymer overlay on the bridge deck and replace bridge joints as part of I-95 bridge preservation project in Chatham County.

This $2.9 million bridge preservation project consist of work on 22 bridges on and over I-95 in Chatham County.

Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; read signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected.
