GUYTON -- The South Effingham High School Band took listeners to the movies during its Spring Concert on Saturday.
"At the Movies" featured tunes from famous flicks and a colorful light show by AK@ Productions. Movies that received the musical spotlight included "Dr. No," "Titantic," "Avengers," "Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone," "The Incredibles," "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Jurassic Park."
The brass symphony, woodwind symphony, concert band, symphonic band, wind ensemble and combined bands took turns performing under the direction of Sean McBride and Benjamin Barber.
The concert concluded with a tribute to its seniors.
