The Effingham Chamber of Commerce announced following its Thursday morning Board of Directors meeting that Tess Moore was stepping down as the Chamber’s executive director.

Moore, who has served as director of the Chamber since March, said that she was leaving with mixed emotions but that she had been offered the position as marketing manager for Comcast Cable in Savannah.

“I love Effingham County and I have enjoyed my time with the Chamber. I think the Chamber and the entire county is poised for tremendous growth,” she said.
