Mustangs win Raider Rumble to finish perfect regular season

The South Effingham varsity cheerleading team won first place in Class AAAAA at the Raider Rumble at Swainsboro High School on Saturday to complete a 6-0 regular season..
The will compete for the Region 2-AAAAA crown this Saturday at West Laurens in Dexter. The Mustangs are the defending region champions.
Senior cheerleader Madison Hagan said, “One of the many things I’ve loved so much about this season is watching the girls come together as a family to achieve a common goal. We all want a state ring and we all accepted how much time and work it was going to take to get it.”
