“The 2025 Effingham Fair Committee invites you and your family, churches, non-profits, schools, and businesses to participate in the 2025 Effingham Fair Activities and Special Events,’’ said Grady Rahn, Effingham Fair manager.

The Effingham Fair is set for Oct. 16-25 at the Effingham Fairgrounds in Springfield.

Daily activities include the petting zoo, booth exhibits created by local businesses, garden clubs, youth groups, high school clubs, church groups, bureaus, and mini-booths by 4-H clubs.

Also on display daily will be homemade baked goods, arts and crafts, quilts, crocheted items, art exhibits, and crops such as corn, cotton, peanuts, pecans, squash, peas, pears, and so much more.

The Fair Parade will be held Oct. 20 beginning at 5 p.m. in downtown Springfield. Livestock shows will be nightly, Oct. 21-24 beginning at 7 p.m. Animals will be shown by Effingham County 4-H or FFA members or pre-club age.

The Effingham Fair beauty pageant is set for Oct. 25 at 3 p.m.
