Early voting on the presidential preference primary ends March 2 in Effingham County. There are two polling places for early voting, the voter registration and election office at 284 Highway 119 South in Springfield and old Marlow Elementary School, 4752 Highway 17 South.  Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Also on the ballot is a referendum for package sales of beer and wine on Sundays in the unincorporated portions of the county.
