The Springfield and Rincon Garden clubs are sponsoring a flower show to take place during Olde Effingham Days on Saturday.

Members of the public are invited to submit horticulture entries for the event. In order to have your entry in the event you must bring it to the County Administrative Office on Friday between 3-5 p.m.

The categories available are:
Section A Bulbs
Class 1 Tulips-Tuilpa
Class 2 Daffodils-Narcissus
Class 3 Hyacinth (hyacinthus)
Class 4 Amaryllis-Hippeastrum
Class 5 Any other worthy named bulb

Section B Polypodiaceae-Ferns
Class 6 Nephrolepis (Boston)
Class 7 Asplenium (Birds Nest)
Class 8 Any other fern genus grown in a container

Section C Hanging Baskets
Class 9 Flowering container grown
Class 10 Foliage container grown
Class 11 Combination planting-plants grown for Compatibility

Section D Herbs
Class 12 Parsley
Class 13 Mint
Class 14 Rosmarius officinalis (Rosemary)
Class 15 Ocimum basilicum (Basil)
Class 16 Herb collection of three or more

Section E Potted Plants
Class 17 African Violets-Saintpaulia
