SPRINGFIELD -- Effingham County is set to host a public Open House about the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Plan.
The SS4A Plan will identify actionable strategies to help address the county’s traffic safety concerns. To do this effectively, input is needed from the people who use the roads every day.
The goals of the July 17 Open House are to:
• Share the purpose of the SS4A Plan
• Provide an update on our progress to date
• Gather your input on the county’s roadway safety concerns

The event, set from 5-7 p.m., will be conducted at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex Gymnasium at 1750 Ga. Hwy 21 South.
The Open House is a casual, drop-in style information session meant for all residents. County staff will be there to explain the planning process and answer questions.
