Rebel Regiment takes top honors at Walterboro Band Classic

The Effingham County High School Rebel Regiment took top honors at the Walterboro Band Classic at Colleton County High School in Walterboro, SC on Saturday.

 

 The band placed first in division four and also earned the highest overall score in the competition.

 

The band placed best in show for drum majors, music performance, visual performance and general effect. 

 

The Rebel Regiment will host the 35th Annual Coastal Empire Classic Marching Competition on Oct. 8 at ECHS and will be playing an exhibition performance of their 2016 competitive show, “Samurai”. 

 

The competition will feature bands from Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Admission is $8 and the gates will open at 12 p.m. The first performance is scheduled for 2 p.m.
