The Rincon City Council voted unanimously to approve a motion to pay $28,800 for the 9th Street Extension Project.

A portion of the money will be used to first survey the area and create construction plans - once this is completed, construction will begin.

The council also approved two payments to Y-Delta, Inc. for their work on the Fort Howard Road Utility Extension Project.

The first pay request to be approved was in the amount of $157,056.42 for work already completed on the project.

The second payment approved was for $29,712.84 - this amount was a contract increase, bringing the total amount to $1,295,082.35.

The next meeting of the Rincon City Council will be held on March 27. All meetings take place in the courtroom of the Rincon Police Department building.
